December 16, 2025 | Day 1 of the Journey to 10k Users and $100k MRR
Day 1 of the journey to 10k users and $100k MRR was about laying foundations, not chasing growth. Ideatr shipped three core upgrades: reliable project export, a clear file tree with file viewing, and generation checkpoints that let users safely revert to any previous state. These changes turn Ideatr from a fragile demo into a tool you can actually iterate with. Backend generation is still ahead, but now it has a solid base to build on.

Day 1 of the Journey to 10k Users and $100k MRR
This is Day 1.
Not the day Ideatr launched.
Not the day it got users.
The day the journey actually started.
Today wasn’t about growth, marketing, or demos. It was about doing the work that makes everything else possible.
Here’s what actually shipped today:
• Export works
You can now take a project out of Ideatr and open it in a real editor without broken files, missing content, or weird formatting issues. This was table stakes, and it’s finally solid.
• File tree + file viewer
You can see exactly what Ideatr generates — folders, files, and file contents. No guessing. No black box. This alone makes the product feel far more real.
• Generation checkpoints
After every generation, Ideatr now creates a visible checkpoint with a number, name, and timestamp. You can scroll through your full history and revert to any previous state with one click. Iteration finally feels safe.
None of this is flashy.
All of it is necessary.
This is the kind of work that doesn’t show up in launch tweets but absolutely matters if the goal is 10k users and $100k MRR. Without these foundations, you just keep rebuilding demos instead of a product.
Backend generation is still the biggest missing piece. That’s not something that gets solved in a single day. But now it has a real place to live — on top of persistence, visibility, export, and safety.
Tomorrow, the focus is collaboration. Not the perfect version. Just something real enough that sharing a project with someone else actually makes sense.
Day 1 down.
Onward.
